All you need is a sewing machine.

View multiple photos and videos of the fabrics available. No need to buy an excessive amount of notions when you need just a small amount. Get the convenience of a large format printed copy of the pattern and even large tracing paper to trace your pattern to save your original. Access to sew-along videos to ensure success!

The packaging makes the perfect gift box or storage container for all the materials as you are working on the garment. The pattern is available separately too.
Finding Fabrics
Finding fabrics can be challenging. There are a limited number of brick-and-mortar stores. You can find many fabrics online but you cannot touch and feel the fabrics to ensure they are perfect for your garment.

We solve this problem for you by finding the fabric.

To find fabrics, we have traveled to fabric shows and big city garment districts. We examine and test each fabric to make sure it will work with the garment.

Each product page has detailed descriptions, photos and videos showing the fabric.

Don't have a sewing machine? You can borrow sewing machines at many libraries and from friends. A decent machine can be purchased for under $200 and less if you can find a used machine.
Veronica, Owner and Founder of Sew Amusing
My name is Veronica. I hate shopping for clothes and I wanted to learn how to sew. So I challenged myself to make my own clothing.
​
I soon discovered one of the most difficult things about sewing is finding the fabric perfectly suited to a sewing pattern. My local fabric stores have a limited selection of apparel fabrics. I would order online and the fabric almost never met my expectations. I ended up with a growing stash of fabric that I could not use.
​
As my sewing skills got better, I designed the Uno dress and got so many compliments. I would receive requests to make the dress and that is when it hit me, I could make it easy for others to make the dress for themselves. Sew Amusing was born.
​
I decided to offer sewing project kits that come with everything you need to make your garment so that you can get started quickly! I strive to find fabric perfect for the garment and provide many photos on the product page to ensure it meets your expectations.

I am not a sewing expert, but I love sewing and learning every day. I have worked with experts to finalize an easy-to-sew pattern and find quality fabrics suited for the pattern.

About the Uno Dress
The Uno Dress is a versatile dress perfect for multiple occasions! Dress it up for a cocktail party or dress it down for a picnic.
​
Sew the dress in either a knit or woven fabric.
​
It is an easy-to-sew pattern. It has a columnar shape which is gathered at the waist with elastic.
​
You will want to sew it over and over for yourself and others!
